Proč přispěli

Pomáhat je pro mě samozřejmá součást života, protože si uvědomuji, že není samozřejmé prožívat tak hezký život, jako je ten můj. Ale vybrat si z nepřeberného množství nadací s méně či více důvěryhodným programem, je obtížné. Ze všech stran se na nás valí žádosti o pomoc. U Brontosaurů v Himalájích mě přesvědčila promyšlenost pomoci. Sympatická mi je snaha tamní komunity nestát s nataženou dlaní, ale snažit se vlastními silami rozvíjet a udržovat v Mulbekhu tradice, ale současně zvyšovat kvalitu života především vzděláváním.

I decided to help because I was impressed by the project. Schools like this represent some of the best of humanity in my opinion. It is so easy for privileged people like myself to take education for granted, and given this opportunity to help educate a child for three years at an extremely low cost, I accepted. It was especially important for me to be able to sponsor education for girls.

As a teacher and social worker I know how important is education for the child. I thing that development adoptions is an appropriate way to provide education to children who live in a much more complicated living conditions.

In this capitalist society, I think it's important to make circulate help and show solidarity towards people from other countries who don't have the same possibilities as us. I think that every child in the world has the right to education and equal opportunities. It's a way to show respect aswell and to be opened minded to other cultures.
